Romantic Russian opera premieres in Virginia!
This dazzling GRAND OPERA production, conducted by Maestro Walter Attanasi, features TodiMusicFest’s international “dream cast” and brings Tchaikovsky’s celebrated Russian opera to life with dancing, dueling, opulent scenery, lavish costumes, and lush music. The gripping story traces a family through fractured friendships and lost loves. Timothy Mix stars as Eugene Onegin with soprano Oksana Krovytska, star of Moscow’s Bolshoi Theatre as Tatiana and tenor Rodrick Dixon as Onegin’s ill-fated friend Lensky.
